Day in the office with Katy*
- Learn how to write contracts, budgets and detailed wedding task list
- Sit in on client and vendor phone calls
- Sit in on prospective client calls: how to sell yourself!
- Learn nuances of the liaison role: vendor relations
- Learn process of building a wedding day timeline
- See how Katy keeps it all straight and clients happy: filing, email & voicemail management, check-ins
- Help with assembly of invitations, favors and more
- Witness week-of wedding prep including vendor confirmations, packing your emergency kit, etc.
- Eat lunch on Vows with Katy to discuss questions and observations
On the Road with Katy*
- Sit-in on the Vows signature “Launch Meeting” (where the plans begin taking shape!)
- Sit-in on prospective client interviews
- Sit-in on vendor interviews

Rehearsal Day with Katy*
- Meet and greet bridal party and their families
- Help organize line-up of the procession
- Shadow Katy as she coordinates roles and cues
- Shadow Katy in explaining schedule of the day to the bridal party
Wedding Day with Katy*
- Shadow Katy as she teams with vendors for smooth set-up and execution
- Learn the nuances of being a great organizer without being a drill sergeant
- Learn day-of prioritization: where to be and when
- Shadow Katy as she works to follow the pre-determined timeline while keeping the client AND guests happy
- Shadow Katy as she helps get the bride in her gown
- Shadow Katy as she helps coordinate the bridal party for photos
- Shadow Katy as she lines-up participants for ceremony
- Shadow Katy while she coordinates the cake cutting, toasts and special dances
- Shadow Katy as she puts out day of “fires” while remaining calm and keeping the client stress free
- Help manage the guest book; greet guests and learn the importance of creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Shadow Katy as she coordinates transportation for bridal party and guests - the component that can make or break the day!
- Assist Katy with reception set-up including menus, favors, place cards, chairs, linens and more - a wedding planner helps where needed!
