Day in the office with Katy*

  • Sit in on client and vendor phone calls
  • Sit in on prospective client calls: how to sell yourself!
  • Learn nuances of the liaison role: vendor relations
  • Learn process of building a wedding day timeline
  • See how Katy keeps it all straight and clients happy: filing, email & voicemail management, check-ins
  • Help with assembly of invitations, favors and more
  • Witness week-of wedding prep including vendor confirmations, packing your emergency kit, etc.

Katy’s Background: Worked for a premier public relations firm in downtown Seattle, including account executive & internship coordinator positions; board of directors seat and resume/career counseling for a local non-profit organization; and 10 years of managing events from high-end wedding celebrations to corporate launches. Katy holds a degree from Gonzaga University in Journalism & Sociology.
